Mixing Style and Musical Influences
Being a classically trained musician, and proficient at several instruments, Dreamr understands musical meter and scale. Being able to phrase mixes correctly, and move the tone of the mix up and down, is essential to holding a listener's attention.
Dreamr utilizes several mixing styles as he burns through his crates. Fast cuts, blends, chops, loops, and effecting are staples to his shows. As are using musical key to effect the crowds mood.
Mixing with Traktor 2 Pro and a Native Instruments S4 controller, Dreamr is no stranger to technology. In fact he was a top ranking Ruby developer before music completely took over his life. He brings that deep technical knowledge to his performances, and never fails to impress the crowd.
Dreamr has long been a huge fan of Electro House and Disco. While his roots were in more traditional rock and roll, when it comes to dancing, these styles just can't be beat. His tastes include French Electro, Dutch House, Fidget House, Complextro, and Funky House.

History
Originally hailing from San Diego, California, Dreamr started out his musical career as a punk/post-punk-emo guitarist and vocalist. After joining several bands that couldn’t get their shit together long enough to record an LP, Dreamr went back to his roots as a music lover and discovered EDM.
His heart having found a new home, Dreamr moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands to experience Europe’s top parties. He befriended many DJs and Promoters across Europe, and quickly decided that he had what it takes to keep people dancing all night and into the day.
Having cut his "chops" DJing at the Winston’s “Cheeky Mondays” where he spun and performed live, gritty Drum and Bass sets with several partners. He later migrated to several residency spots in Amsterdam, including the Sugar Factory’s “Electro Madness” parties and later, “Dutch Madness” parties, when Dutch House music exploded.
Dreamr toured throughout Europe as a single act and as part of several electronic acts and DJ groups and after falling in love with Spanish influence, he moved to Puerto Vallarta to “Get in touch with my inner Mexican. Viva la fiesta!”.
He is currently living it up in Mexico, playing beach, club, and house parties that routinely go into the next day. On life in Mexico, Dreamr has one thing to say.... "I love life in Mexico. The people are great, the food is amazing, and I get ample time for my music, which is the most important thing to me."
